When Henrietta Leavitt begins work at the Harvard Observatory in the early 1900’s, she isn't allowed to touch a telescope or express an original idea. Instead, she joins a group of women "computers," charting the stars for men who claim credit for their advances. As Henrietta, in her free time, attempts to measure the light and distance of stars, she must also take measure of her life on Earth, trying to balance her dedication to science against family obligations and the possibility of love - social progress, like scientific discovery, can be hard to gauge when one is trapped among earthly complications. Based on real people and events, Silent Sky is a humorous and inspiring look at the determination, passion and sacrifice of the women who helped redefine our understanding of the cosmos.

Spies, murder, love, and other trademarks of Alfred Hitchcock come to life in the style of a 1940’s radio broadcast of the master of suspense's earlier films, showcasing The Lodger, Sabotage and The 39 Steps. This is early Hitchcock of the 1920’s and ‘30’s, before he came to America—a familiar figure in many respects, but also one to surprise those who haven’t become acquainted with Hitch’s work while he was still honing his craft. This production is a triple feature, complete with vintage commercials, that recreates a daring train chase, a serial killer’s ominous presence, and a devastating explosion through the magic of live sound effects and musical underscoring. A spooky, exciting piece that offers a perfect evening of theater.

Set just after WWII, the action centers around businessman and family patriarch Joe Keller, who desperately wants to secure and maintain his family’s financial security and the legacy he spent so many years building, ready to hand it down to his surviving son Chris. At the same time, Joe’s wife Kate is still waiting for their eldest son Larry to return from the war, determined that he is alive and will marry the girl-next-door, Ann. Ann is the daughter of Joe’s former business partner, who now sits in prison, convicted of industrial crimes committed by Joe. To complicate matters further, Chris and Ann have fallen in love and wish to marry. In All My Sons, Arthur Miller creates a post-war American family in a tragic spiral of lies, greed, love, and loss, which demands its audience examine their own social responsibilities to all the sons of American wars.
